The USA confirmed one more case of COVID-19 on Feb. 20, bringing the total to 16. On Feb. 21 the USA confirmed 20 additional cases. Elsewhere in the world the case numbers rose. [Wikipedia]

There were new cases on the 15th and 16th in France, Malaysia, Thailand, Hong Kong, Japan, Singapore, South Korea, Taiwan, and the UAE. Well, here we are again. It’s the third day in Bali or maybe the fourth, it’s a bit jumbled. On February third, 2020 the USA declared a public health emergency. Things were heating up. India confirmed a third case and Vietnam announced an eighth case.

On the 30th of January, the Philippines confirmed its first case of COVID-19 in Manila. On the 31st, case number two was confirmed. We had booked a flight on the 31st for Bali already and I felt as if we were staying ahead of the virus. We were still on vacation and our plan was practically intact.
