Yesterday, we considered our options. We considered our options sitting in our room, sitting at lunch, and sitting watching the sunset. In our room we looked through our books and the internet and found some fun places to go in South America. Sitting at lunch we left the books on the table and enjoyed a delicious vegetarian meal. Sitting watching the sunset I said that Central America feels like it was one trip and South America feels like another. We are jumping too fast from one to the other. We need to take a moment to return to ourselves.

This might be a good time to mention that we are spending the month of May on the Caribbean coast in Costa Rica pet sitting. It is our first house sit and we are extremely excited to do it and get experience for other opportunities. That leaves us 2 months in South America. That is a short time for a enormous place. We were only considering going to Colombia, Ecuador, and Peru and even that may not be practical. So, sitting, watching that sunset fade into the horizon last night we decided that we should go to Bogota next week. We left it at that because we will find people that make us happy and opportunities that excite us. A week can be a long time when we can watch the sunset everyday.
