We’ve been here for a day and a half. It’s a working city. It’s been fun. We’ve been walking around looking around. Yesterday we went to the mall and MegaPaca in the morning. Jill finally bought a little jacket that should keep her warmer. I found some nice shoes for hiking up volcanoes and such. In the afternoon we went to a hot spring called Fuentas Georginas. It was awesome to heat up in the volcanic water. It splashes a hundred meters down a cliff into the hot pool. Then it flows into a second and third pool which we sat in mostly. The steam was thick and the pool was crowded with little kids splashing and a happy grandmother. Today, we are heading for Lake Atitlan for another 2 days. We haven’t confirmed where we’ll stay or how we are getting there. We will get to that later. Have a nice day.
