We made it to Mexico. We had uneventful flights and an uneventful bus ride. Apparently they don’t all speak english but the ones that do want to sell us something. We’ve been offered haircuts and a free breakfast with timeshare presentation. We did not partake in either. Best things so far are the room temp storable eggs and our fish taco lunch. I’ve been spouting Spanish like a native, although I may have said 115 incorrectly to some nice women. They were probably confused by my superior grasp of the language. Jill and I are going to somewhere for some supper with our host here at the hostel soon. We went to the supermercado and saw a bag of corn kernels  that was bigger than all our luggage. It cost around $25 but we passed it up.  We also slept for 2 hours this afternoon. It was a hot day here and we walked a long way to get to the hostel. I tried our sterilizing UV lightsaber on some water from a bathroom faucet that said Not For Drinking. It tasted liked chlorine so we didn’t drink much. We ate some lettuce and tomatoes with our salad and oddly enough we haven’t spent the afternoon in the bathroom. Buenas noches from 79℉ Playa del Carmen.
